من نحن

Who We Are

Safina Al Hikmah is an independent Islamic debate and dawah platform. We engage 7th century history, manuscript and textual criticism of the Quran, comparative religion, and live interfaith dialogue — published on this site and streamed live on TikTok, YouTube, and X.

The platform was founded and is directed by Sèitheach Wilson. Our work is grounded in traditional Islamic scholarship and engages critics, skeptics, and interfaith interlocutors on their own evidential terms — not through rhetoric alone.

The name Safina Al Hikmah — سفينة الحكمة means "The Ship of Wisdom." It reflects our conviction that knowledge, honest inquiry, and patient argumentation help Muslim communities navigate the intellectual challenges of the modern world.

الرسالة التحريرية

Editorial Mission

Safina Al Hikmah exists to present debate, commentary, and analysis from an engaged Islamic perspective. Our content prioritises historical evidence, textual rigor, and open discussion over polemic or emotional appeal.

Our core debate topics include:

  • The historical record of early Islam and 7th century Arabia — engaging revisionist narratives with primary sources
  • The "multiple Qurans" myth and related manuscript criticism — addressing variant readings, transmission history, and textual preservation
  • Comparative religion with a focus on Islam and Christianity — the nature of divine unity, prophethood, and scriptural authority
  • Dawah methodology and practical outreach in the Western context

We believe readers and viewers deserve both information and perspective. We do not claim ideological neutrality — we are unapologetically Muslim in our orientation. Our goal is to disclose that perspective openly so audiences can engage critically with our content.
